They slide vertically and can also tilt within the frame, providing an easy maintenance solution for homeowners in your coverage area. Additional design features such as run-through sash horns and a deep bottom rail are available to add a real touch of class.

Slide & Tilt

Both the top and bottom sashes can slide up and down for ventilation, and tilt facility enables you easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

Run-through horns

Our run-through horns are mechanically jointed and form a continuous part of the top sash giving the window an authentic look. Sash horns are optional.

Authentic features

With seamless welds, mechanical joints, astragal bars, woodgrain finishes, weather bar, deep bottom rail, horns - there are options to replicate traditional timber look.

fully mechanical 90 degrees joints, as found on traditional timber windows (only on woodgrain finish!),
seamless welds to disguise the external 45-degree corner welds with a flush mitre providing a far superior aesthetic finish (only on woodgrain finish!),
deep bottom rail - as an additional option to make them look as close to the original timber version as possible,
an innovative weather bar that not only offers authentic period aesthetics but also adds another level of protection against rain and wind,
slide and tilt facility for ease of cleaning and maintenance (please note certain specifications do not allow for these features).

Security you can Trust

Our sash windows deliver the most advanced levels of security without adding complex operation. They are practical and come with all the safety features you would expect from a modern window solution.The window is secured using a snail cam fitted to the top face of the bottom sash. By turning the lever you release the cam from its keep. You have the option of choosing a key-locking or non-locking system.

Our traditional sash windows are kitemarked to BS EN 12608 and you can also take advantage of our comprehensive PAS 24:2016 security upgrade package.

You can upgrade the security of your sliding sash windows by taking advantage of our comprehensive PAS 24:2016 security package. A PAS 24 upgrade is generally mandatory on new-build projects. This upgrade is available on windows with 45° welded joints as well as on our traditional fully mechanical jointed option. The enhancement includes the below four upgrades:
